With friendly resident cats and dogs, this hotel is purr-fect for animal lovers who might miss their own furry friends left back at home. Ginger the cat will welcome you along with his brothers, but they know where they are allowed, and where not. All resident cats are fed well away from the hotel to ensure they donтt bother guests. The hotel has a policy of caring for the local stray cats too. Staff feed them, take them to the vets if required, and neuter them at their own cost to help control the population. Not many hotels would bother to do all that for non-paying guests!

"Relaxing and superb views"
Nice quiet hotel found via the gonorthcyprus website. Gary in sales got us a good deal at Ambelia Village and when we arrived we were welcomed by the receptionist and felt at home. We had a light, pleasant room that was spacious and faced the sea. Fantastic views. There's a fridge and coffee making facilities if you want to pick up milk, coffee etc. We stayed on a B and B basis and enjoyed the breakfast each...
morning, can't say more about the other meals because we ate out the rest of the time. You can walk into Bellapais from the hotel - we did and had a lovely meal out, it's a bit of a climb back up to the hotel though! Very nice relaxing stay.

"A well-kept secret"
My boyfriend and I booked a week at Ambelia Village through gonorthcyprus and have just returned after a lovely stay. It's quite a small place and very peaceful, not luxurious but cosy and homely feeling. The staff were all so nice, literally every one of them, they made us feel welcome and well attended to. We had a light, airy room that was very clean with wonderful views over Kyrenia from the balcony....
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty every day and we had a couple of traditional Cypriot lunches/dinners here too, which were all well cooked and delicious. You can get to the nearest beach in about 15 minutes by car and can walk to and from the village, just be aware that it is uphill on the return journey! Great value for money, we would like to return.

My husband booked us a surprise getaway to Ambelia Village in Cyprus, I had no idea about it until we were on our way to the airport! He told me he booked through GoNorthCyprus.com, who even arranged our transfers, and I'm leaving a review because I was so delighted with our trip. We had a beautiful, clean and spacious villa with a superb view of the city and of the coastline, just glorious. The staff we found...
to be very pleasant and helpful for the entirety of our stay. There's a lovely beach about 15 minutes away by car and it's definitely worth exploring the area to visit the charming ruined abbey. The food was fantastic too, beautifully cooked and delicious. We really did have a ball! I hope I get another surprise like this again soon!
