Refunds during COVID-19 Pandemic

Please be assured that we are doing our best to organise alternative arrangements for customers who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are currently contacting customers by departure-date order. If, we have not been in touch already we shall be in touch with you as soon as possible. Please note that these terms are on top of our normal booking conditions and are prepared with the aim of informing our clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cash Refunds

Go North Cyprus has yet to receive the money back from hotels, airlines and other suppliers affected by the world-wide crisis. We have made every effort to keep in contact with all airlines, hotels, and other suppliers to process the refunds as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, due to high demand of the situation we are currently experiencing delays which is affecting our ability to refund yourselves.

Refund Credit Note

As per the ABTA guidelines, who have urgently requested government help to make certain the rules regarding refunds are acceptable for the current situation therefore Go North Cyprus is offering full refunds as Refund Credit Note for all customers who have been affected by the current COVID-19 pandemic. We have sent the Refund Credit Note for all customers due to depart from present until 31 May 2020 and shall continue to process more as the situation becomes assessed from 1 June 2020 and onwards. Refund Credit Note is fully supported by ABTA, a UK travel trade association for tour operators and travel agents. It acts as an alternative to cash refunds during COVID-19 pandemic and would provide travel businesses with vital breathing space, whilst ensuring all consumer protections are carried forward. ABTA also sees it is a vital step to support consumer confidence in the travel industry.

Using Refund Credit Note

Go North Cyprus customers can use their Refund Credit Note any time until 31 December 2021 for any holiday part such as flights, hotels, holiday villas, airport transfers, car hire and tours. The Refund Credit Note are amendable, and this can be discussed with our reservation’s manager.

Getting Cash Refunds with Refund Credit Note

Should you decide not to use Refund Credit Note during 2020, Go North Cyprus is fully committed to offer cash refunds no later than 1 January 2021. We aim to begin offering customers a cash refund as soon as possible, hopefully sooner than this date. An admin fee shall be deducted. We kindly urge you not to contact your credit card provider as we are following ABTA & Government guidelines by providing you with Refund Credit Note. If you have purchased travel insurance, you may find it quicker to assess your refund through them. We shall be able to provide you with any cancellation paperwork that is required.
