About Denizkizi & Denizkizi Royal Hotel
Book a holiday in one and you can enjoy the facilities of both, including the beautiful gardens, swimming pool and the sandy beach in its own pretty little cove.
Delightful Beach in a Pretty, Sheltered Cove
North Cyprus may have over 70 beaches, but few of them are as pretty, or as sheltered, as the sandy beach at DenizKizi. (Turkish word for "Mermaid") Wander down through the pretty gardens from the hotels and spend your days beside the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Stretch out on a lounger under a shady parasol on the beach or the sand-free terrace above, splash about in the shallow, warm waters, or grab a cool drink or lunchtime snack from the seafront restaurant. It's very relaxed, very friendly and with free beach towel service, you won't need to take any beach sand back to your room either!
Shady Gardens to Relax in
Not every sun lover wants to bake on a beach all day long. If you just want to relax in the shade with a good book, the lovely gardens have lots of quiet places to sit in peace and look at the view. Take in the views from the Denizkizi hotel terrace, with sweeping vistas to the mountains behind and the seashore below. The hotel grounds also extend onto a rocky promentary behind the beach area, another peaceful and relaxing place to sit and watch the waves.

Traditional Cypriot Hospitality
One of the reasons so many holidaymakers come back to these twin hotels so often is the genuine Cypriot welcome, and the tasty Cypriot food. You can enjoy an international menu at the Terrace Restaurant, snack at the poolside restaurant, and salads, snacks and freshly grilled meals at the informal self-service beachside restaurant. You might meet owner Niazi sampling the breakfast and dinners each day to ensure they meet his high standards, and his family eat in the hotel too!
Every Sunday from May to November, the hotel cooks a 'lamb in the well', a slow-roasted treat for meat lovers. There is also a courtesy bus to the famous Niazi's kebab restaurant in Kyrenia, owned by the hotel.
Fitness and Wellness Centre
For those who like to keep fit on holiday, the hotels share a compact gym and wellness centre complete with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym equipment. For those who want to exercise their mind and body, there's also a giant chess set and board set out by the pool.
Water- sports on You Doorstep
The Denizkizi water sports centre is open from April until October, where you can get as wet and wild as you like jet skiing, on a banana boat, waterskiing and wakeboarding, or parasailing high above the hotel. Learn to scuba at the hotel 5 star PADI certified scuba diving school, with expert tuition and quick access via Zodiac boat to some of the best dive sites in North Cyprus.
Stress-Free Transfers from Ercan Airport
One of the benefits of flights to North Cyprus Ercan Airport are the short transfer times and easy driving conditions. From the moment you sit back in your air-conditioned transfer taxi or minivan, to the moment you arrive at the hotel is, on average, just 45 minutes. The hotels are also just 8kms west of Kyrenia town, and the bus stops right at the top of the hotel drive. The pretty village of Alsancak with its restaurants and shops is just 1km away.

Denizkizi & Denizkizi Royal Hotel Reviews

"Excellent value in a lovely setting"
This was a great introduction to the northern region of Cyprus, my husband and I booked a week's stay at the Denizkizi through gonorthcyprus, who got us a good price. We had a very nice room right on the top floor with superb sea views. Everything was clean and well kept. We enjoyed the food at the hotel but also ate out about half the time as we like variety. Beautiful private beach outside and gorgeous...
tropical gardens surrounding the hotel. There's a local minibus that takes you into Kyrenia very cheaply and regularly, it's about 6 miles out. You can also take a taxi, it's not all that long a ride and great to explore the city. Really good value trip all round and a faultless experience we'd be keen to repeat!

"Relaxed pace of life"
We've just returned from a relaxed break at the Denizkizi, which we booked through gonorthcyprus. The run-up to Christmas is always stressful and we wanted to experience a slower pace of life before coming back to throw ourselves into the Christmas spirit. The hotel was clean and tidy, traditionally family run and well priced. Our room was spotless and the towels were changed regularly, the bathroom was...
finished to a high standard and there are coffee making facilities in the room. Most of the guests are older, obviously coming for the relaxed, laidback experience. There's a nice private beach at the bottom of a slope down some steps and a supermarket and pharmacy not too far away. Fantastic lamb dinner on Sunday with an interesting tradition behind it, great prices for food and drink too. We will definitely return.

"Treated like royalty at the Denizkiki Royal"
We found the Denizkiki and Denizkiki Royal hotels on the gonorthcyprus website and were tempted by the wonderful reviews. Two hotels for the price of one was a great deal in our opinion so we booked soon after and stayed at the Royal. Sure enough, we were welcomed warmly on arrival and given a very nice and comfortable room that looked recently refurbished. The hotels are both pleasant and have a laidback air,...
being uncrowded and nicely designed. The gardens are just beautiful and there are lots of fruit trees, and the terrace overlooking the sea is equally lovely. Breakfast is decent - fruit, meats, eggs, cheese, all the expected goods. We had some delicious lamb on the Sunday, apparently the hotel's tradition of cooking the lamb in an underground oven is well-known throughout the region and I can honestly say it was superb! A wonderful time has by both my husband and I.
